Special Educational Needs

A child or young person has Special Educational Needs (SEN) if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for special educational provision to be made for them.

At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School we are committed to ensuring all children make good progress at our school.  We provide support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs. The school’s aim is that every child should be encouraged to fulfill his or her potential. The School SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) is Mrs Nunn

The SEN Information Report is a document designed to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities and their families. It describes the services and provisions that are available to those families through our school. Copies of our SEN Policy and the SEN Information Report are available under the Policies & Statutory Documents page on our website.
