In May, we celebrate Mary, mother of Jesus.  We crown Mary in a special assembly, in keeping with May traditions.  Mary is the patron saint of our school and we pray with her. Mary is often depicted as wearing blue. She wears blue as blue is the colour of the sky, which reminds us she is in heaven and blue is the colour of water, which reminds us of Mary's purity.   On our Feast Day we wear blue too!   Throughout the day we work together across our classes and have lots of fun.
