Bishop Alan visits St Mary's

It was an absolute joy to welcome Bishop Alan to our school and parish.  Bishop Alan toured the school with the Faith Council and visited each class. He then had refreshments with staff and governors before meeting the wider community in the hall. Following this, Bishop Alan conducted the Confirmation mass in our Parish Church.

Bishop Alan was incredibly complimentary about our school and the children; he was particularly impressed with their artwork. He spoke with every person with genuine interest and it was a real privilege to meet with him.
