Pre Easter Work
There are a wide range of resources available for your child on the school website as well as what has been mentioned below. I have included: worksheets, slideshows/ PowerPoints, interactive games as well as practical activities. All of which covers the curriculum so far.
Maths Task – Ratio
Follow a recipe and devise a ratio for the relationship between different ingredients.
(Encourage children to look at the proportions of the ingredients compared to each other).
Measure the area and perimeter of your bedroom and living room.
Home learning pack is differentiated according to ability (Developing, Expected and Greater depth). The mark scheme is also available online, in order for parents to correct and explain any misconceptions in your children’s work.
Literacy – Writing
Spend 5 minutes each day writing a diary entry.
(Encourage the children to write a recount of the day or the previous day using the correct tense, and use figurative language where possible).
Kind Regards,
Miss Blasse
