Awards and Certificates

                                 

Brentwood Catholic Children's Society have sent their appreciation and thanks for receiving £320.00 which was collected from the Nativity performances and Tree of Angels.

 We raised £128.00 for Children in Need on 17th November 2017. Thank you to everyone who donated.
 St Mary's collected £86.29 for this year's Poppy Appeal.
 As a result of a lot of hard work from our current Year 6, for their efforts last year, we have been been awarded the BBC Terrific Scientific award.
 We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the FairAware School award.

For dressing up as our
favourite book character we raised £54.31 in donations.

 £134.65 was raised for Children in Need with the children bringing in donations for wearing something with spots on.
 We raised £594.90 for Sports Relief. All pupils dressed in their house colours and there were sport's competitions and sports activities throughout the day.

We received a thank you letter from Cafod thanking us for our donation of £110.16 collected throughout Harvest Festival Week in October.
 We recieved a letter congratulating us on our provisional KS2 SATs results from Tim Coulson, Regional Schools Commissioner, East England and North East London.
 A thank you letter from Havens Hospices thanking us for the children's donation of £292.59.
 Our local music service has recognised the value that we place on music and so have nominated us for having a school membership of Music Mark.
 Following our Nativity performances in December, St Mary's donated £192.76 to Little Havens.

Well done to Mrs Nixon for helping our school achieve the Gold Star Award for exceptional PE and School Sport delivery for 2014/15.
 A letter from Councillor Sue Gray, Mayor of Thurrock, thanking us for an enjoyable visit to St Mary's.
 St Mary's are pleased to become members of nace (National Association for Able Children in Education).
 Following our Cash-in-Lieu of Christmas Cards Scheme in December, St Mary's donated £50.00 to St Luke's Hospice.
 Following our Nativity performances in December, St Mary's donated £182.04 to the British Heart Foundation.
 Following our Nativity performances in December, St Mary's donated £165.00 to Little Havens.
 Following our Nativity performances in December, St Mary's donated £185.00 to the CLEFT charity.
 Following our Nativity performances in December, St Mary's donated £186.29 to the Brentwood Children's Society.
   
 St Mary's collected food for our Harvest Festival and donated it all to the Thurrock Foodbank Warehouse. When it was weighed it amounted to 104.0kg.
 We had a non-uniform day for Children in Need which raised £199.06.

Pupils and Staff wrote prayers on our Tree of Angels during Advent.
 St Mary's collected £55.21 for the Poppy Appeal.
